Heatree has developed nationally unique partnerships that enables volunteers to live and study at Heatree.
Lectures are held both South Devon University Centre (Paignton) and Heatree Activity Centre (Dartmoor). Including dedicated study space with computer and library facilities. Access to Personal Tutors and Student Services support is available.
On-site accommodation is available at Heatree Activity Centre.
Outdoor Adventure training days and expeditions are provided by Heatree team and NGB providers
An adventure Christian Leadership module accredited by Moorlands Bible College is delivered on a weekly basis.

Two-year Foundation Degree in Adventure Leadership
Bachelor’s (Hons) Degree in Coaching (Outdoor Leadership)
Both are awarded by the University of Plymouth.

Physiology for the extremes
Psychology of the outdoors
Applied adventure sports
Train to be a qualified teacher at Heatree. From September 2020 we are offering:
Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET)
Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (CET)
The Level 4 (CET) can be topped up to a Diploma in Education & Training (DET) which can lead to Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS)
Students are volunteers at Heatree as part of the Outdoor Education Team. During their volunteer time they will also gain experience delivering outdoor learning and working towards and gaining national governing body outdoor qualifications including:
