Heatree has developed nationally unique partnerships that enables volunteers to live and study at Heatree.
Study
Lectures are held both at South Devon University Centre (Paignton) and Heatree Activity Centre (Dartmoor). Dedicated study space is provided alongside computer and library facilities. Access to personal tutors and Student Services support is also available.
Accommodation
On-site accommodation is available at Heatree Activity Centre.
Training
Outdoor adventure training days and expeditions are provided by Heatree team and NGB providers
Christian Leadership
An Adventure Christian Leadership module accredited by Moorlands Bible College is delivered on a weekly basis.

Train to be a qualified teacher at Heatree. From September 2020 we are offering:
Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET)
Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (CET)
The Level 4 (CET) can be topped up to a Diploma in Education & Training (DET) which can lead to Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS)
Students are volunteers at Heatree as part of the Outdoor Education Team. During their volunteer time they will also gain experience delivering outdoor learning and working towards and gaining national governing body outdoor qualifications including:
Various other awards and qualifications are included in the scheme and gaining these will depend on your experience, personal interests and the requirements of the Centre.
