We provide you with nationally-recognised award qualifications in activities such as climbing, canoeing, mountain biking and many more. Outdoor Adventure training days and expeditions are provided by the Heatree team and national governing body providers.
Pathways available include an Adventure Leadership degree and Teaching and Learning Certificates, enabling students to achieve Qualified Teacher status. These courses are delivered through our partnership with the University Centre South Devon (Paignton) while gaining invaluable experience, putting what you learn into practice with our on-the-job training on Dartmoor.
Dedicated study spaces, computer and library facilities, access to Personal Tutors and Student Services support are all available.
Being part of a residential program, you get to live on-site in Dartmoor National Park, with normal living (subsistence) expenses fully covered.
We recognise faith as an integral part of life and there are many parts of local churches you can be a part of. Additionally, we have developed an Adventure Christian Leadership program, endorsed by Moorlands Bible College, which is delivered weekly.
