The Quantick Bursary Fund

The Quantick Bursary Fund exists to help more young people experience all that Heatree has to offer. We believe every child and young person should have the chance to enjoy time outdoors, build confidence, and learn in a supportive environment.

Through this fund, we support children and young people under 18 who might otherwise be unable to attend a residential stay or school visit.

The bursary is named in memory of Elizabeth Quantick, who founded the Heathercombe Brake Trust in 1956.

  • Applications can only be made once a booking has been confirmed.
  • If a booking is later cancelled, standard cancellation charges will still apply.
  • We welcome donations to help grow the bursary fund and support more young people in future. If you’d like to contribute, you can donate via Stewardship: www.stewardship.org.uk/pages/quantickbursary

* The discount covers the cost of accommodation, catering (if fully catered), activities and transport whilst on the visit; it does not cover travel to and from the Centre or other costs added by the applying organisation.

** A minimum of one activity session (half day session) should be booked for every full day of visit (not arrival or departure days). E.g. 1 full day = 1 activity session, 2 full days = 2 activity sessions.
