Heatree offers a number of volunteering placements which vary from one month to three years and provides opportunities to support the many different areas of Heatree, such as hospitality, grounds, maintenance and catering. The volunteer placement usually involves you living on-site and being a part of the working community. All normal living expenses are covered.

Do you love inspiring and teaching young people in the outdoors? Would you like to work alongside a committed and dynamic team? Are you a Christian wanting to share your faith with others?
The Volunteer Instructor scheme is an excellent opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications and valuable work experience in the outdoor industry, whilst sharing your Christian faith in our dedicated and supportive team environment.
Accommodation and food is provided and you will live on-site in our staff houses. Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday 8.30 – 4.30pm and you will also need to do occasional evening and weekend work. You will provided with a full staff uniform and all personal protective equipment required for outdoor activities.
Various other awards and qualifications are included in the scheme and gaining these will depend on your experience, personal interests and the requirements of the Centre.
All successful applicants will be recommended by their home church and placements subject to a complete Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
